Philippe Bihouix
Philippe Bihouix is a 39 year-old engineer. With a general engineering background, he has worked in the construction sector as a works engineer and then as a consultant engineer in many industrial sectors such as energy, chemical, transport, telecommunications and aeronautics for almost ten years. He is also the Head of Mission for an NGO in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola for a year. He currently works in the railway freight output sector.Philippe Bihouix is the author of Quel futur pour les métaux (EDP sciences), which deals with the finiteness of mineral resources and its close interaction with the energy issue. It also focuses on the technical and societal limits of recycling and the circular economy, and denounces the pertinence of green growth and technology overstepping the economy.
