Thomas Guéret is a public works engineer, specialized in controlling energy and the fight against the greenhouse effect in France and worldwide. He is currently at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He was a member of the Inter-Ministerial Mission on Greenhouse Effect (MIES, in the Prime Minister’s office) between 2000 and 2004 and worked at the International Energy Agency from 2004 to 2007. An ecologist campaigner, Thomas Guéret is also a founding member of négaWatt and for ten years, was the president of the Résistance à l’agression publicitaire (R.A.P.) Association.
